CABALLEROS NEWSLETTER, MAY 20008

Dear Family and Friends, We are glad to comunicate with you again and we want to share a little bit about the activities we are doing in the Ministry. We continue teaching Bible principles to the teenagers every morning at the school. Besides that, we have included other workshops to get to know and guide them better: Singing, Hebrew Dance, Cooking and Baking, Carving on Wood & Drawing, Sports and other fun activities with water! All of this has led us to do activities out of the school, which has worked okay because it also attracts other teenagers in the streets to join us and to "hear" what they have to hear. Last Saturday, for instance, we had a Christian Rock Concert at the Plaza of Santa Lucia Milpas Altas, (which is about 20 min. from Antigua). Hugo invited some good friends to play some Gospel Music at the Park. One of his friends plays the guitar with such a talent and passion for Jesus Christ and God uses him to share his testimony in an extraordinary way. We were in charge of the sound system and to invited some people and, of course, the students to come with their friends, but only a few students came. Guess who came to hear the Christian music and the message of the Gospel? People from that area who we didn't know! Boys, girls, children and parents were listening his testimony from a distance: behind the cars, by the basketball court and some were even on the balconies around the plaza! At the end, many teenagers came forward expressing that they had enjoyed the good music, but they were especially moved by the message, and of course, the music! Praise God!!! He is more than faithful and He continues touching and reaching hearts! "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance" Please continue supporting us with your prayers!!
