From our family

Dear Friends and Family in Jesus Christ:

On our vacation, November and December, when we were off the school, we were too busy. We were visiting different places and communities and also spending time with our co-workers and “disciples”. We had the opportunity to spend time with the children in the Mayan community of Santa Maria de Jesus, so we shared the Gospel with many of the children there. It was also so special to share the Gospel in some meetings we held with our relatives and some neighbors.

This year, God is leading us to go serve full time in Casa Bernabe Orphanage. We really want to be obedient to His purposes, and we understand He has a perfect plan for each one
in our family and Ministry too.

In our hearts, we want to continue serving the teenagers from different places, teaching them through workshops, with the only purpose on foccusing them know God’s will for their lives. For this reason, we continue to pray that He will provide a specific place (in our country) to give them Education as well.

At Casa Bernabé, we will be in charge of a group of older girls this time, and also be involved in Church leadership activities.

Please continue to support our family with your Prayers and Correspondence. This encourages us to keep going!
And, if God leads you also to help us with our family finances, please let us know. We will appreciate that, and we can specify some of our needs.

We are truly thankful to God because He is more than Faithful and He has blessed us with protection, strength, good health, and in many other ways.

About our kids: Our two older daughters, Ilse and Rode will continue studying in Antigua. This is their 2nd. of 5 years of University and this year, they will be living with Gilma’s mother, which will be another wonderful opportunity for them.
Our younger kids, Andrea (6th grade) Dena (4th grade) and Noe (2nd) will start school this week in Casa Bernabe Elementary School.

Thanks again to all of you for keeping in touch.

May the Lord bless you and your families and jobs abundantly
in 2009, and always!!

In Jesus Christ,

Hugo and Gilma Caballeros.
